About Jason Hurley

I’m a 33-year old guy originally from Cincinnati (relocated to Buffalo in 2011) who loves sports and technology… not to mention my wife and young daughters!  I have a lot of pride in my schools (THE Ohio State University and Moeller High School) as well as my sports teams (Crusaders, Buckeyes, and Bengals).  Some may refer to me as a nerd or a geek because I work with data and computers all day and have an affinity for technology.  So be it!

I originally started this blog because I often fields questions Excel, so I figured I’d post those answers here.  However, the blog title (How to Excel) turned out to be serendipitous as I’ve consistently tried to find ways to excel in many aspects of my life.  In fact, I’ve sometimes been forced to do so (eg. health).

So, other than my Excel tips, I hope to share many other things I’ve learned from health and diet to exercise to technology to lifehacks to personal finance, and so on.  I do get a sense of satisfaction from simply blogging and getting my thoughts “out there”, but I also enjoy interaction.  So, if you have any thoughts – good or bad – on what I write, I welcome any feedback!
